1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using https://talktovaani.com and any associated pages (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you") and Vaani ("we", "us", "our"). We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service following notice of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Description of the Service
Vaani is an AI-assisted spiritual-reflection tool that draws on classical Indian texts — including the Bhagavad Gītā, the principal Upaniṣads, and the Vedas — to offer philosophical guidance, verse citations, and contemplative responses to user queries. The Service is provided for informational, educational, and reflective purposes only.
3. No Professional Advice — Critical Disclaimer
Important: The content generated by Vaani is not medical advice, mental-health treatment, psychological counselling, legal advice, financial advice, or any other form of regulated professional advice. Nothing in the Service creates a professional-client relationship of any kind.
Specifically:
- Mental health and medical matters: If you are experiencing a mental-health crisis, suicidal thoughts, severe depression, anxiety disorder, or any medical condition, please contact a qualified healthcare professional, a licensed mental-health practitioner, or an emergency service immediately. In the United States, you may call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline). In India, iCall: 9152987821.
- Legal matters: Nothing in the Service constitutes legal advice. Consult a qualified attorney for legal guidance.
- Financial matters: Nothing in the Service constitutes financial, investment, or tax advice. Consult a qualified financial adviser.
The ancient texts cited are rendered in translation and with interpretive commentary. Vaani does not represent that any particular translation, interpretation, or commentary is authoritative, complete, or endorsed by any religious institution or scholarly body.

11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, VAANI AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, LICENSORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES — INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES — ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS EXCEED ONE HUNDRED UNITED STATES DOLLARS (USD $100), OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, WHICHEVER IS GREATER. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN WARRANTIES OR LIABILITY; IN THOSE JURISDICTIONS OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Vaani and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with: (a) your access to or use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; or (c) your violation of any third-party right, including any intellectual-property or privacy right.

15. Severability and Waiver
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
